About Me

C&C is a love project devoted to all things, well…that we love. After ages of scouring the web for a site that encompasses all of our passions—food, literature, movies, music, travel, secrets to life—we finally decided to bite the bullet and create our own one-stop shop of all things decadent and entertaining…with some how-to’s thrown in for good measure. Because we realized, as young, hip, modern twenty-something gals, we got gypped out of the old-fashioned basic everyday skills a girl oughta know. Today’s woman may be able to run a marathon in Manolos and speak in digital slang (u know, abreves), but can she boil an artichoke, crochet a throw, or throw an impromptu dinner party? Can she name Brangelina’s brood and the works of Virginia Woolf with equal fluency? We’re not sure we can, hence our mission. We want to know how to whip up crème brulee, publish a novel, and dump a loser-beau via text. And why not share our findings with our friends? But at C&C, we’re doing things our way. Which means flipping the bird, indulging in anything and everything, and throwing caution to the wind. There's always a lesson to be learned...tomorrow.

Cookies & Cabernet is produced, written, and hosted by two cousins who have a soft spot for all things cozy, sweet, and aged to perfection. We live in San Francisco and Santa Barbara and are BFFs 'til death do us part.
